To every girl I've ever been, and every woman I was forced to be who is not myself, I am incredibly sorry for my selfishness. Writing this book did not come easy. In fact, it took me two years to accomplish because I was afraid. For two years, I have sat with pain and secrets that are now only truths to tell. Because I would not be me if I did not speak up about what really happened. While also reminiscing on everywhere my heart has been separated. I have felt almost every pain of love and loss I could imagine.

This is art, and I have created one of the most memorable canvases I've seen in a very long time.
