  • What To Expect?

"From my perspective little league has impacted me in the way that I get to be more in touch with my
community because before I wasn’t as in touch but I was aware. It also impacted me because it let
me act on being an activist rather than saying I’m an activist I’m not actually doing any work. I feel like
it also impacted my personal growth not just as an activist but as a person. It has allowed me to
challenge myself and challenge the things that I believe in or have believed in (in a good way) so it
made my beliefs more open which prompted me to listening to others rather than just shut them
    down completely." - Nevaeh

  • Why?

"Little League Activist Academy has impacted me in multiple ways. First, it changed me mentally
because it helped me with emotional maturity. I understand the way emotions affect people because
we have a "ventroom". My concepts have become more left-leaning, especially by taking notes. It
makes me feel like I'm a part of something it honestly has made me happier. I now have a mentor
(Ms. Elayjiah) and I trust her so much. I've built friendships and connections along the way. It affected
me so well mentally and educationally I've gained friendships, connections, emotional maturity,
outside look, inside look, and finally, it made me a better person. It made me feel better about myself."- Lex
