Online Activism Academy
Freedom is in the Power of Education.
Where Education becomes Liberation.
Our Online Activism Academy is a global program for middle school and high school students ready to rise as the world’s next change makers. Running from January 5th to May 22nd, all classes are held virtually through Zoom—welcoming youth from across the globe.
The purpose of this program is clear: to find and uplift the next generation of leaders by surrounding them with the resources, mentors, and community they need to thrive.
What We Offer
-
Powerful Curriculum: Students will learn about community organizing, activism, true Afro history, financial literacy, and essential life skills that prepare them for adulthood.
-
Innovation Project: Each student (working solo or in pairs) will design an innovation or “change project” that helps shape the future in a positive way.
-
Healing Group Sessions: Safe spaces where youth can process, share, and build resilience.
-
Big Brother/Big Sister Program: Peer accountability partners who encourage and guide one another.
-
Special Guest Speakers: Leaders, educators, and changemakers who inspire with real-world experience.

-
Volunteer & Leadership Benefits:

-
Seniors may receive personalized recommendation letters for college and career opportunities.
-
10 full scholarships will be granted this year to cover program tuition.
-
Family Involvement
We believe change starts at home. That’s why we offer parent/family workshops for those who want to be active participants in the process. Parents will also receive weekly updates and be invited to monthly Zoom check-ins to stay connected to their child’s progress.
Our Vision
We aim to provide a safe and empowering environment where youth can:
-
Learn about social justice issues impacting the Black community.
-
Gain the knowledge and tools needed to navigate adulthood.
-
Access resources such as teachers, tutors, mentors, and internships.
-
Build friendships that inspire collaboration and lifelong impact.
-
Develop their “change project” with the potential for future investment through scholarships and mentorship.
- Occasional offering group trips, and meet ups! Where we are servicing our communities.
This is more than an academy—it’s a movement to educate, inspire, and prepare the next generation of chang emakers.
