Hey, I’m E’Layjiah! I am 24 years old. What began as a volunteer trip across Africa turned into something life-changing—I met three incredible children who became my heart. I’m now in the process of adopting them, with full support from their families and my community.

In order to get my foster license, I must obtain a work and resident permit. 

I originally applied for a Class B work permit, but ran into an unexpected roadblock that disqualified me. The only path now is a Class A investor permit, which comes with a $4,000 fee plus business license and legal fee's. To maintain this permit, I must also invest $50K into Tanzania and run a registered business.

I’ve already invested everything I have into securing a safe home for us, covering their school fees, and essentials. I’m now asking for the help of my community, my village, so we can take this first step together.

This is just the beginning of a long journey, but I’m not giving up on them. With the support of their families and mine, I’m doing everything I can to reunite us. Time is not on our side, but love is.
